Sell the houseBy fredelmo in Medicare and MedicaidI live in Texas. My mother was in the hospital for 2 days and was moved to a nursing home. Afraid she may end up staying long term. She has Medicare and Medicaid. She owns her home. Whats the best way to sell the home and retain the money. She has racked up bills that we were unawhere of such as credit cards, bank loans, plus gas and electric; she is behind on payments on all of these. We would like to use the house money to pay the bills.
