Hello all, new here, great site,,,,
My Mother, who is now 72 years old, has what we think is a form of Dimentia. She lives with my oldest brother, in a really large house, where she's there by herself most of the day, sometimes until 9 or 10 at night....I went over last week to take her to the pharmacy, and I was shocked. She was there alone, of course, and it was all I could do to get her to open the front door to let me in, after I called her on my cell to let her know I was on the front porch. Once inside, she appeared totally incoherent. Like a scared child. She knew who I was, and I began to help her get her socks on. She proceeded to tell me that "That man kept me up all night"...I asked her..."What man"..."Oh, you know, he calls himself "ghost", and had his grandson with him". This was a very sad moment for me. She continued to tell me that "they" keep her up all night..."You know...the shadows...I wish they would do something about those shadows"...Once in the car, she seemed to come around. She knew exactly where she was, and seemed to be her old self. Dimentia or Alzheimers?
