Getting a good night’s sleep is essential for everyone in enhancing quality of life and well-being as well as in managing our overall health. But what can we do if getting to sleep or staying asleep is becoming more and more difficult as we age?
UC Irvine SeniorHealth Center Pharmacist Dr. Tatyana Gurvich will discuss some things older adults can do, and should not do, to get a good night’s sleep. In her lecture, she will provide tips on how to manage insomnia with and without medications, prescription and non-prescription sleep remedies, and good sleep hygiene practices.
