I would like to personally let you know about an exciting cause Holiday Retirement is supporting in honor of veterans and to invite your organization to join in our efforts. Most Americans today know someone – a family member, a friend, a classmate – who has defended our freedom by serving in the military. Veterans are some of our bravest and most honored citizens. many new veterans need our support more than ever when returning home. Hardened by the realities of war, thousands of service men and women face mental illness, drug and alcohol abuse, failed personal relationships and unemployment as they struggle to readjust to civilian life. Together, we can help. Holiday Retirement, the leader in independent retirement living with more than 300 communities across North America, is aiming to raise $1.2 million dollars for Outward Bound for Veterans.

Outward Bound for Veterans is a unique program that provides challenging wilderness learning expeditions for returning veterans focused on character, personal development, leadership and service.

To jumpstart our fundraising efforts, Holiday Retirement communities across the nation are reaching out to local organizations to partner with us in joint fundraising efforts in order to reach our goal of raising an additional $1 million for Outward Bound. To help reach this goal, Holiday Retirement will match every dollar donated to this great program.
