What was unique, but rang so true , was the lack of involvment the parent really had with his adult children. There was a touching moment, when the sister said to her brother, "Did Dad just give up on us?"

The financial aspects of the movie were really good, especially in a second marriage(or common law spouses) it shows what can really happen to the surviving spouse.

Great movie, all of us at the age of 36 to 66- should watch this movie. It is enlightening.

There is a movie I just saw yesterday, the title is "Savages", which is completely miss leading. If you have a loved one who needs some type of special care, this movie depicts the human dynamics involved when a family is thrown into a positon where they need to take care of their Dad. You need to see this movie if you are a family in crisis, or you work in the Eldercare industry. As an advisor with A Place for Mom, families have shared very similar examples of the situations they had to work through with their loved one.
