    May is Older Americans' Month

May is "Older Americans' Month", and Tuesday, May 20th is Older Americans' Day.  This celebration of seniority began in 1963 when President Kennedy proclaimed May as the month to honor our seniors.  Let's focus this month especially on the contributions and needs of seniors everywhere, and how we as a people can prepare to meet their future needs.  The national theme for this year's Older Americans' Month is:  Loving Life, Helping Others, Supporting Communities.
