    Touching

Today I read an observation by social historian Robert Blythe.

"I think the old need touching.  They have reached a stage of life when they need kissing, hugging.  And nobody touches them except the doctor."

Let's all remember to hug our loved ones as often as we can.

What a difference the HUG makes....I recently went back to visit a community that I used to work in....it was like coming home...a woman, Jenny, came to me and told me her husband passed away....she said...I miss his HUGS....please HUG me...I cired at the very words....all she wanted was a hug from me...someone she had not seen in almost 6 months...the hug was enough to make her SMILE....thank you John for reminding everyone....just HUG someone...or touch their back...what a difference it could make!!!!!!!!!
