    Arthritis Information

"Arthritis" is not just a word doctors use when they talk about painful, stiff joints. In fact, there are many kinds of arthritis, each with different symptoms and treatments. Most types of arthritis are chronic. That means they can go on for a long period of time.

Arthritis can attack joints in almost any part of the body. Some forms of arthritis cause changes you can see and feel-swelling, warmth, and redness in your joints. In some the pain and swelling last only a short time, but are very bad. Other types cause less troublesome symptoms, but still slowly damage your joints.

One of the BEST documented relief is the new biological drug called REMICADE- my seniors are thriving with this new drug, gives them relief from many ailments. Read on:

    Remicade

    Generic name: infliximab (in-FLIX-i-mab)

Remicade is used for reducing signs and symptoms of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis when used along with another medicine (methotrexate). It is also used to reduce symptoms of moderate to severe ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and certain types of skin psoriasis. This medicine is used to reduce symptoms of moderate to severe Crohn disease or ulcerative colitis in patients who have not received relief from other treatments. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor
