Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see the wreckage of the Titanic? Come hear a first-hand account of someone who saw the sunken ship with her own eyes. Jennifer Carter, who became the first woman to dive down to the Titanic wreckage in 1987, will be at The Lodge at Cold Spring to share her story.
Jennifer will be sharing all of the harrowing accounts that led her to dive down to the ship, including a cruise ship sinking in Alaska and a potentially fatal skydiving accident. Jennifer had to survive hurricanes on the open sea, was told “If anything happens down there you can’t be rescued,” and made the decent to the ship in total darkness, in an extremely small submersible vessel. However, none of that deterred her from seeing the remnants of “the unsinkable ship.” Her presentation will begin at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 26.
Please come to The Lodge and enjoy this great presentation with us! You can even join us for a meal at 12:30 if you’d like. The Lodge at Cold Spring is located at 50 Cold Spring Road in Rocky Hill, CT. Stop by for more information, or contact Matthew DaCorte at 860-721-194
