Sunrise of West Hills is offering a free support group for families struggling with issues of caregiving and placement. Clare Heicklen, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a geriatric specialist will offer her professional expertise and personal experience of caring for seniors. She has been counseling families for more than 10 years and will now lead a special MONTHLY support group at Sunrise of West Hills. We know you face difficult challenges caring for your loved ones. Caregivers rarely acknowledge their own emotional needs, but Sunrise is here to support YOU as well as your loved ones. There is NO CHARGE to attend this 2 hour session and you do not have to have to be a Sunrise West Hills resident family member to participate.
The date of this event set for the last Thursday of every month from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Our address is 9012 Topanga Canyon Blvd. in West Hills. Light refreshments will be served.
