    Regional Grocery Chain Supports Seniors

There is a great supermarket chain with a heart located in the Richmond, Virginia area that supports local charitable endeavors and who now is setting out to also help seniors and their families to find available resources.  Follow this link to see their corporate values and ideals!

I urge you to support this business and all others that honor our seniors and provide assistance.

Tim, I could not access the website via the http://www.ukrops.com/about_ukrops.asp link.  Is there another link?

Seniors also need to take advantage of AARP's discounts and don't forget about McDonalds.  The senior coffee at McDonalds is only .54, and their coffee is rated outstanding!

Many grocery stores offer delivery for a nominal fee.  This is a wonderful choice for seniors that no longer drive.  It is also a great choice for seniors in an Independent Living Community because they can have their groceries delivered to them.  Families and friends can assist the senior with navigating the internet website and order their food to be delivered weekly or monthly.  It is a great convenience for seniors.
