     Hi Cheryl ,

Will you please give the link for gifts for elderly people and helpless people who needs some attention?

    Thanks,

Thanks for sharing the links Cheryl, this will be useful for us as we run a health care agency in Ireland.

Giving gifts is the another way to show your love and affection to the dear one. I think it is a great ide of giving them gifts on different occassions. This provides them the feeling of happiness and motivates them to stay healthy. Many home care services uses this idea of giving gifts on different occassions.

Definitely a good starting point.  Sometimes people don't seem to understand the value of privacy when you're grieving or under emotional duress.  I definitely have some extended family members who don't pick up on those social cues.

Another gift to consider: a charity gift card included with the sympathy note. Flowers are nice, but when I was greiving the death of a family member the slow fade of the roses didn't make me feel much better about death.  Some people already specify charities they'd like to see receive donations in leiu of flowers, but if that information isn't provided and you'd like to still send a gift, charity gift cards are a great idea.

A friend of mine whose fiancé died at April will complete 26 years next month and I really don't know what to offer her. I was thinking about giving a perfectly normal gift as if nothing happened (perhaps it will help her forget about her problems for a while), but I'm not sure yet...Does anyone have an idea?

Good suggestions! A simple condolence and a plate of food are good gifts for grieving families. No expectation of return conversation is such a blessed gift.

Elder persons attach with their memories ...so you have to give some memorable gifts just like their family photos.
