    Twilight Wish Foundation

I heard about an interesting organization that is basically a 'Make-a-Wish' foundation for seniors. It's called Twilight Wish Foundation and does charitable work making senior's wishes and dreams come true. They've done everything from giving a ride on a zamboni during a Flyer's game to delivering a Cheesesteak sandwich (with extra red peppers) to arranging for dancing girls!  It was founded by Cass Forkin in Pennslyvania.  They've granted over 770 wishes to seniors of modest means since they started in 2003!

"...Simple wishes, made by the women and men who paved the way for generations to follow - teachers, neighbors, civil servants, parents...

The Twilight Wish Foundation shows elders that younger generations have not forgotten them. We remember their works, influence and kindness towards us and we want to at least give them a smile in return. "

Very neat stuff. Check them out at http://www.twilightwishfoundation.org/

    Re: Twilight Wish Foundation

The Twilight Wish Foundation (TWF) has been busy granting wishes and fulfilling dreams!  They are up to 847 wishes granted to date.  In March, they have an exciting wish that they are granting - a 94 year old fan of Wheel of Fortune, Percy, will meet Vanna White Chicago, IL.

If you'd like to learn more about TWF, check out their website from JohnT's post.
